Video Problems?
We've received reports from people unable to watch videos if they are using Internt Explorer. Symptoms are that audio works but the video is blanked out. Only Internet Explorer is impacted.
If you are are experiencing that problem, in Internet Explorer:
- Go into Tools, then Internet Options, then the Advanced Tab
- Turn off hardware acceleration for graphics. How?
Look for a setting for "Hardware Acceleration" or "Hardware Graphics Acceleration" or "Accelerated Graphics" - something like that. Wording can vary by version of Internet Explorer.
- Turn hardware acceleration off.
- In Internet Explorer version 9: in "Accelerated Graphics" check the box for "Use software rendering instead of GUP rendering", which is the same thing as do NOT use hardware acceleration.
- Turn hardware acceleration off.
- Then restart Internet Explorer. That should fix the video problem.
